IL2 is definitely the better game, and a more polished overall package. A real sense of accomplishment when successfully landed! In DCS however landing a spitfire is a real challenge and it behaves pretty much as I have read the real birds did, if you were not careful, bouncing all over the runway. Trying to land and take off in IL-2 is a simple matter of basically slowing down, and the physics to arcadey. In VR, with a jetseat (support that IL2 sorely lacks) and headphones it is unsurpassed by anything in IL2 in my experience. The DCS spitfire for example is a masterpiece. Spotting defo better in IL-2, but IMO although DCS has its faults, Il2 cannot match the quality of the DCS modules themselves. In DCS the AI is garbage if you are flying the FW190 or the mustang.
